Jimi Hendix. Style kind of inspired by Sterling Hundley. It was supposedly going to be a 60’s music/drug related piece but it didn’t really end up going as planned. I still like it though. Supposed to be blood vessels coming out of his hair and a universe sort of look in the background.

Assignment was to do an illustration involving reflection.

Assignment was a family portrait of animals from a distinct decade in the 20th Century. I decided to set it in my birth year. XD The text is in Nirvana’s font. ^ ^

Put up photos of this a while ago but it got professionally photographed so I’m uploading it again in HQ.

Photo of all my work from the semester! :) (with the exception of the one I uploaded last night… that used to be near the top.) Contrary to my expectations the review went extremely well, talk of looking into interning with Def Jam Records or Burton! :D Lots of this stuff is off being photographed right now so lots more images of individual pieces to be put up today. ^ ^ (Many older things probably being replaced with better images, too.)

What is my life!? I spent FOREVER on this! Image for my screen printing project, uploading the poster designs in a minute, but I was happy with this standing alone so I figured I’d upload it.

I know these don’t look toooo much like sketches but they are. They’re silly little concept pieces for the upcoming Say Yes! to Education project. This semester I’ve been assigned a child’s poem about the color Gold to illustrate. So these are the ideas I came up with, second idea really isn’t resolved but was more just me messing around and being really tired and therefore unwilling to make a nicer drawing/tighter coloring/even attempt to finish the lines in the hair. So apologies for how messy that one is. Also, the Lion is the same one that’s going to be in my Grace Potter poster… I didn’t feel like drawing another lion for these sketches but if I go with that idea, I do plan on drawing a different lion.
